Annual Art Raffle Kick-Off with Artist Tina Sturges

We are thrilled to announce that nationally renowned Ridgefield artist Tina Cobelle-Sturges will be creating a special work of art for our 2020 Annual Art Raffle Fundraiser to help celebrate the 100th anniversaries of the League of Women Voters and the ratification of the 19th amendment.   

Tina will be the sixth member of the Ridgefield Guild of Artists to participate in our Annual Art Raffle Fundraiser.  "Her extensive portfolio of paintings demonstrates her ability to strike a balance between realistic, impressionistic and abstract genres". When interviewed by the Ridgefield Press about her work Tina said "My new works try to draw the viewer into paintings featuring texture and giving a great deal of movement, energy and color. My oceanscapes elicit the invigorating joy of a coming storm and simultaneous emotional calming of the setting sun".  

We are extremely grateful and honored that Tina has  generously offered to create something special for the League and look forward to officially "unveiling" her work at our February 11th "Get To Know Your Town" meeting.
