Why Join the League of Women Voters?

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan, grassroots organization where hands-on citizen action helps
shape laws and policies that we all live by. The League of Women Voters will help you become a better informed member of your community. Join LWV and be directly involved in shaping the important issues in our community. You will have the opportunity to work with others who share your interest in open,
responsive, accountable government.

 

When you join, you will receive League publications from your local, state and national League offices. As a League member, you will meet new friends and enjoy social activities. You can be as involved and active in the League as you wish — there is no time requirement when you join the League.

 

Membership in the League is open to men and women of all ages. With more than 90 years of experience and over 800 local and state affiliates in all 50 states, the League is one of America’s most trusted grassroots organizations.
